Kunshan, ChinaJune 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On the occasion of International Children’s Day, Goodyear visited Shiyu Primary School in Kunshan Development Zone to deliver a lively and meaningful road safety education public welfare activity for children. This event also officially kicked off Goodyear’s 2026 Asia Pacific “Global Volunteer Week.”
On the day of the event, Mr. Nathaniel Madarang, President of Goodyear Asia Pacific, visited the site and interacted warmly with teachers and students. He stated that cultivating road safety awareness from a young age is not only crucial for students’ personal growth but also concerns the future of society as a whole. “Guided by the mission of ‘Better Future,’ we have always actively promoted community public welfare practices around the three core pillars of ‘Safety, Intelligence, and Sustainability,'” he said. “We are deeply proud to join hands with the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the China Road Traffic Safety Association, and Shiyu Primary School in Kunshan Development Zone to promote road safety education. As diverse modes of transportation such as buses, private cars, motorcycles, and bicycles interweave on urban roads, the importance of road safety is increasingly prominent.
