After on-site inspections and evaluations, 37 of the world’s most outstanding hotel bars have received this honor
ATLANTAJune 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Forbes Travel Guide (FTG), the global authority on luxury hospitality, today announced its 2026 Hotel Star Bar list, recognizing 37 of the world’s most exceptional hotel bars for their cocktail artistry, outstanding service, and unforgettable guest experiences.
This year’s listed bars come from 18 countries/regions, selected through FTG’s rigorous anonymous inspections conducted globally and data collected via its star rating system. Bars on the list scored highly in beverage programs and presentation, while delivering seamless luxury service and exceptional guest experiences.

This year’s 37 award-winning bars include both historic legendary establishments and emerging leaders redefining the modern hotel bar experience.
Shanghai and Tokyo lead this year’s list with three award-winning bars each. Five bars have been recognized again: Le Bar at Capella Shanghai, Jianye Li; Le Bar Américain at Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo; Le Bar Botaniste at Shangri-La Paris; Library by the Sea at Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa; and The St. Regis Bar at The St. Regis Macao.
Notable new highlights include:
- The Champagne Bar at Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Surf Club, a palm-fringed hotspot boasting Miami’s largest champagne collection.
- The Bvlgari Bar at Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo, a Mediterranean-style sky garden on the 45th floor.
- Vault Bar at Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, transformed from a bank vault into a cozy setting with creative drinks.
- Don Manuel’s at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, an open-air oasis serving cocktails with a distinctly Mexican flair.
