This Shanghai-based engineering plastics supplier has achieved centralized replenishment management for 16 distribution centers (DCs).
SHANGHAIApril 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Engineering plastics product supplier K.D.F. Distribution Co., Ltd. has selected RELEX Solutions to provide demand forecasting and replenishment support for its DC network in China and Southeast Asia. This project will cover 16 DCs and approximately 1,200 SKUs, aiding the company in the planning and coordinated management of its Asian operations.

Previously, K.D.F.’s replenishment and procurement work relied primarily on semi-manual processes. As the business scale expanded, this model led to difficulties in aligning procurement decisions with sales demand and significantly increased management complexity with the growth in business volume and network scale.
Leveraging RELEX’s forecasting and replenishment capabilities, the planning work for all DCs will achieve centralized control. Integrating the planning processes into a unified system will not only streamline daily workflows and reduce the burden of manual operations but also significantly enhance collaboration efficiency between procurement and sales teams. Furthermore, this new architecture will help the company make more consistent replenishment decisions and achieve clearer visibility management across the entire network.
Christopher Voigt, Managing Director of K.D.F. International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., stated: “Previously, our replenishment and procurement processes were highly reliant on manual work. Now, we urgently need to achieve centralized governance of our operations and strengthen cross-departmental collaboration. RELEX helps us manage the replenishment business for our national DCs with a clearer and more integrated perspective.”
“The partnership with K.D.F. marks our official entry into the new segment of engineering plastics distribution in China,” said Michael Falck, Co-founder of RELEX Solutions. “We are fully committed to supporting K.D.F. in injecting higher levels of replenishment planning standardization and visibility into its supply chain in China and across Asia.”
