Our continuous deepening of green operations and local innovation in the Chinese market is not only about fulfilling our corporate sustainability commitments but also a proactive response to China’s direction of high-quality development and green transformation. In the future, we will continue to deepen local innovation, collaborating with the government, industry organizations, and partners to jointly create healthier, more efficient, and more regenerative commercial spaces.”

“The achievements of Ingka Centres not only demonstrate its firm commitment to continuously promoting carbon reduction and resource optimization during the operational phase of existing buildings but also reflect a long-term practice oriented towards full lifecycle management,” said Ma Lie, Managing Director of USGBC North Asia, while presenting the LEED certification plaques to Ingka Centres. “Ingka Centres is driving its green buildings from individual projects towards scaled application, providing the industry with a demonstrative practical pathway.”

During the “Sustainability Month,” Ingka Centres continuously launched diverse activities integrating sustainability concepts into the customer experience. Shanghai Livat Office also actively encouraged corporate partners to participate in sustainable practices, calling on tenants to join the Earth Day “Lights Off for One Hour” activity and hosting sustainability-themed sharing sessions at the Hongqiao Hub Salon, including this year’s Shanghai Climate Week “Future Food Theme Forum.” Beijing Livat collaborated with universities and social organizations to create the immersive accessible experience space “Walk with ‘EYE'” charity exhibition, focusing on the daily needs of the visually impaired community and promoting warm, inclusive sustainable communities. Changsha Livat launched the “One Planet Livat Green Planet” sustainable living exhibition, presenting diverse green scenarios covering clothing, food, housing, transportation, and daily use through immersive interactive experiences, encouraging the public to start from daily actions to adopt a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Furthermore, the “Livat Green Energy” initiative, themed “Awakening Green Life, Making Goodness More Sustainable,” was rolled out nationwide at Livat centers, bringing creative online and offline interactive experience scenarios.
