Workflows that previously required weeks of custom development can now be completed in minutes, with no engineering involvement required. Orbit’s Agent Builder is the first product of its kind launched within an institutional research platform.
Orbit’s Agent Builder addresses a persistent bottleneck in institutional AI adoption: tailoring research platforms to precisely meet team needs. Previously, customizing agents for specific workflows—such as stock screening, company scorecards, or standardized industry and competitor analysis—required consulting services, lengthy requirement approval processes, and weeks of iterative development. Agent Builder compresses this entire cycle into a single session, while supporting flexible adjustments and modifications to ensure the highest level of precision.

How It Works
Each Orbit agent consists of two core modules. The first module converts user requirements into configurable structured data extraction logic that runs in the backend. The second module generates any number of reports based on the same structured dataset. Users can review the logic layer by layer, edit it, and rerun it as needed.
Each agent can extract data from Orbit’s Knowledge Base datasets, users’ connected internal data, or a combination of both. Users can choose the configuration mix when building the agent.
Native MCP Compatibility by Default
All agents created within Orbit Insight automatically generate corresponding MCP interface endpoints for users. Teams using Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, or their own internal intelligent assistants can directly connect to specific agents. The same data is output via API in the same self-service manner.
Deployed in the Agent Marketplace
Agent Builder is located within Orbit Insight and the Agent Marketplace, the platform’s repository of ready-made agents covering earnings analysis, concept screening, peer benchmarking, ESG ratings, thematic analysis, news stream tracking, and other immediately usable agents. With this launch, the marketplace will add a dedicated section for each user’s self-built personal agent library.
