Sinochem International Makes a Splash at CHINAPLAS 2026
At this exhibition, Sinochem International has set up two booths: 7.2H C68 and 8.2H G44. The main booth, 7.2H C68, is meticulously designed with six exhibition zones: Polymer Resins, Sustainable Development, Smart Transportation, Green New Energy, Electronics & Electrical, and Home Living. It highlights cutting-edge products such as engineering plastic polymers, modified engineering plastics, and specialty fibers, covering the entire value chain from upstream polymerization to downstream modification. The sub-booth, 8.2H G44, focuses on rubber and plastic additives, showcasing customized formula products and application support tailored to anti-aging, flame retardancy, and other application needs for rubber and plastic products.
Engineering Plastics: Full-Chain Strength from Polymerization to Modification
Sinochem International is showcasing its four major polymer resins—PPE, PBT, PA66, and ABS—alongside multiple modified engineering plastic products and their high-end applications.
The StarAir® modified foamed PPE product for new energy vehicle batteries achieves a UL94 V-0 (3mm) flame retardancy rating, combining high mechanical strength with excellent impact resistance to enhance battery pack safety and range performance. It can be used in key components such as power battery enclosures, cell holders, thermal insulation boards, and BMS housings.
The STARESTER® modified PBT product for automotive laser welding offers two specifications: high transmission (2.5–3.0mm) and low transmission (2.0–2.5mm). It delivers higher welding efficiency and a wider processing window, flexibly adapting to different equipment to improve production line adaptability.
The specialty nylon MXD6 product outperforms general nylon in terms of strength, elastic modulus, dimensional stability, gloss, and flowability. It meets the stringent requirements for “lightweight, high-strength, and high dimensional stability” in fields such as the low-altitude economy and automotive components.
Rubber and Plastic Additives: Anti-Aging and Flame Retardancy to Preserve Long-Term Material Value
In the field of rubber and plastic additives, Sinochem International is exhibiting multiple products from the FOPIA plastic additive series and the Sennics rubber additive series.
UV absorbers efficiently absorb ultraviolet light energy and convert it into harmless heat for release, effectively blocking UV damage to polymer materials and extending their service life. They are widely used in outdoor materials and other applications requiring high weather resistance.
Hindered amine light stabilizers inhibit photo-oxidative degradation of polymers, significantly enhancing the material’s resistance to light aging and extending its outdoor lifespan. The exhibited products include various forms, molecular weights, and multifunctional types of light stabilizers, suitable for a wide range of application scenarios.
Compounded products can flexibly address challenges in various application scenarios, offering one-stop system solutions that meet customers’ differentiated needs.
Phosphorus-based halogen-free flame retardants offer advantages such as halogen-free environmental friendliness, excellent thermal stability, and ease of processing. They can be used in scenarios like electronic and electrical product housings, automotive dashboards, high-frequency PCB substrates, and battery enclosures, enhancing material heat resistance and flame retardancy while maintaining mechanical strength and low dielectric loss.
Rubber antioxidants effectively delay rubber aging and extend the rubber lifecycle, serving as key production raw materials for many globally renowned tire manufacturers. The new non-PPD green antioxidant SA6000 features an independently designed molecular structure, offering excellent protective performance and ecological safety. While ensuring high-quality rubber products, it supports the industry’s transition toward green and low-carbon development.
The specialty ketone MIAK uses an independently developed, internationally leading process, successfully filling a domestic product gap. In addition to being used in the production of high-end rubber antioxidants, it is widely applied in fields such as eco-friendly paints and coatings, digital printing inks, electronic chemicals, and process solvents.
Green Future: Circular Economy and Cutting-Edge Technology
Sinochem International deeply integrates the concept of sustainable development into its entire industry chain operations. It closely tracks regulatory trends in major global markets, actively utilizes renewable raw materials, advances mass balance applications, and strengthens plastic recycling and waste reduction, building closed-loop solutions covering the full product lifecycle.
In the field of circular materials, Sinochem International showcases the application of PCR (physical recycling) materials in PPE, PBT, PA, and ABS systems. These achievements have been successfully implemented in demanding fields such as cosmetic packaging and medical applications. The company is continuously advancing the process of material low-carbonization and recycling by optimizing production processes and application solutions across multiple material systems, driving the full-chain implementation of green materials from R&D to industrialization. Among these, a small sea turtle ornament made from ELIX E-LOOP brand materials, co-produced with KraussMaffei, was exhibited at K 2025, vividly illustrating the integration of circular economy and aesthetic design.
Additionally, Sinochem International is actively laying out cutting-edge technology fields. The high-performance materials exhibited this time, such as para-aramid and composites, demonstrate the company’s ongoing exploration and innovation capabilities at the intersection of green materials and frontier technologies through the fusion of lightweight design and environmental friendliness.
