In the fast-paced modern life, sweepers have become a “good helper” for household cleaning with their efficient cleaning capabilities. However, traditional sweepers have obvious shortcomings in terms of functionality. They mainly focus on basic surface cleaning, and their ability to respond is clearly insufficient when faced with complex and diverse household scenarios. For example, when there are toys and other debris scattered on the floor indoors, traditional sweepers are unable to put these items back in place due to the lack of effective recognition and grasping functions, and can only “bypass” or “push” them. In response to the problems existing in traditional sweeping robots, Dreame Technology conducted an in-depth analysis of users’ core needs and launched the industry-leading bionic multi-joint robotic arm technology, innovatively solving the problem of objects being unable to return to their original positions automatically. It is reported that Dreame Technology’s bionic multi-joint robotic arm technology is inspired by bionics. In terms of hardware, the bionic multi-joint robot has five degrees of freedom, a reach of up to 33 cm, and can clamp objects with a width of about 6 cm and a weight of less than 500 grams. In addition, the robotic arm is equipped with two camera systems to achieve all-round point cloud reconstruction. The host’s binocular system can identify all objects on the ground, while the RGBD camera on the gripper works in conjunction with the host’s binocular system to perform a full-scale point cloud reconstruction of the object from two different perspectives, accurately determine the grasping point, and ensure the successful completion of the grasping action. When cleaning narrow areas, Dreame has equipped the robot with a separate accessories compartment, which is equipped with accessories such as vacuum cleaners and sponge brushes. When encountering narrow scenes, the robot will navigate to the accessories compartment to complete the picking and installation work according to the scene/dirt requirements.

The bionic multi-joint manipulator can not only independently complete tool retrieval and deep cleaning tasks in a narrow space, but is also equipped with an advanced embodied intelligent large model, giving the equipment the ability to make autonomous decisions. It can classify and arrange things according to spatial logic, and through deep learning and environmental perception, it can autonomously plan and organize paths to ensure that every operation can be completed efficiently and safely.

Especially in pet areas, contaminants such as food scraps and urine can be picked up by the mop and spread to other areas of the home.

When the sweeping robot enters the base station, the dirty mop can be removed with the help of the intelligent transportation system; after the sweeping robot leaves the base station, the transportation device will move the dirty mop to an empty space and place the clean mop on the bottom tray; after the sweeping robot returns to the base station, it will automatically install a new mop and continue cleaning operations. The system can automatically identify the cleaning needs of different areas, such as kitchens, bathrooms and other easily contaminated areas, and automatically replace special mops to avoid cross contamination.
