Sip & Guzzle in New York City named The Best Bar in North America at North America’s 50 Best Bars 2026, sponsored by Perrier, at a live awards ceremony in Vancouver, Canada, on April 22.
- New York’s Sip & Guzzle ranked No.1, winning The Best Bar in North America, sponsored by Perrier
- This year’s list includes 28 bars from the U.S., 11 from Mexico, 8 from Canada, and 3 from the Caribbean, with 15 bars making their debut
- The Best Bar in Mexico, sponsored by Torres Brandy, was awarded to Bar Mauro (No.2) in Mexico City
- The Best Bar in Canada, sponsored by Monkey Shoulder, went to The Keefer Bar (No.7) in Vancouver
- The Best Bar in the Caribbean, sponsored by NOAM, was awarded to La Factoría (No.26) in Puerto Rico
- Chris Hannah of Jewel of the South in New Orleans won the Roku Industry Icon Award
- Identitad (No.73) in San Juan won the Campari One To Watch Award
- The Three Cents Best New Opening Award was given to Schmuck (No.4) in New York
- The Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award was awarded to Library Bar (No.19) in Toronto
- The Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award went to Allegory (No.57) in Washington, D.C.
- The Nikka Highest Climber Award was given to Cure (No.21) in New Orleans
- The Disaronno Highest New Entry Award was awarded to Bar Snack (No.3) in New York
- The SevenRooms Best Bar Design Award was given to Daydream Rum Bar in Albuquerque
- The Rémy Martin Legend of the List Award was awarded to Handshake Speakeasy (No.12) in Mexico City
- The Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award went to Bar Kumiko (No.11) in Chicago
- The Altos Bartenders’ Bartender Award was given to Freddy Andreasson of El Gallo Altanero (No.10)
The North America’s 50 Best Bars list, sponsored by Perrier, was unveiled live at the awards ceremony held in Vancouver on April 22, 2026. This annual ranking brings together premium bars from the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean, recognizing their excellence in beverage quality and hospitality.
New York’s Sip & Guzzle claimed the No.1 spot, winning The Best Bar in North America, sponsored by Perrier, and also taking home The Best Bar in Northeast USA. Mexico City’s Bar Mauro ranked No.2, followed by New York’s Bar Snack at No.3.
